The positive effects of mindfulness and meditation are all over the news. In the past 20 years, hundreds of research studies have scientifically proven the health benefits of meditation. And it’s true, people have used meditation to manage stress, increase self-awareness, and feel more connected their higher selves for thousands of years.
This week, I will take you through a guided meditation in my Yoga classes. This type of meditation is very easy as you only need to listen and follow through with what is being said. It takes away the expectations of meditation and stopping the monkey mind by focusing on the guidance/ story and keeping your thoughts present in the moment.
